The story of El Pollo Submarine begins with love…

El Pollo Submarine

The very first home cooked meal owners Paul and Janee shared together was the Salvadoran chicken sub. Paul had never tasted anything quite like it. Together, they decided to launch El Pollo Submarine, naming it after El Salvador’s staple holiday meal: “panes con pollo”, which translates to “bread with chicken”. Their menu extends beyond the chicken sub, and you’ll find many tasty treats like pupusas, fried plantains, yucca fries, and pulled pork enchiladas (Salvadoran tostadas.)

Their food truck business is set on this basic philosophy:

If good food is made with love, then it will be eaten with love.
