The very first home cooked meal owners Paul and Janee shared together was a Salvadoran chicken sub. Paul had never tasted anything quite like it. Together they decided to launch El Pollo Submarine, naming it after El Salvador’s staple holiday meal: “panes con pollo”, which translates to “bread with chicken”. Their menu extends beyond the chicken sub. There’s just about something for everyone, including various gluten free options. From zesty pulled pork to hearty braised beef and vegan friendly garbanzo peas, you are bound to find something you’re craving.

Their food truck business is set on this basic philosophy:

 If good food is made with love, then it will be eaten with love.
